Today, November 11th, 2015, was held the press conference to launch the GoEco! project in Ticino.

The conference was attended by the SUPSI researchers and via connection Skype from Zurich, by the researchers at ETH Zurich.

The meeting was closed by Simone Gianini, municipal of Bellinzona and the head of the Department of Territory and Mobility, via live Skype connection from Bellinzona. He confirmed the interest and the commitment from the part of the City in the support of the project.

GoEco! has been nominated for the Schweizerische Umweltpreis 2015 (Prize for the Environment) in the category “Institutions and Organisations”.

Our paper “A Taxonomy of Motivational Affordances for Meaningful Gamified and Persuasive Technologies” has been mentioned in the newsletter “Gamification Weekly” issued by the Gamification Research Network.

Our paper “A Taxonomy of Motivational Affordances for Meaningful Gamified and Persuasive Technologies” has been nominated for the best paper award at the ICT4S conference in Copenhagen.

GoEco! will be presented at the ESRI summercamp 2015.
